The first home buyers didn't like the yellow veneer cabinets and wanted resurfaced cabinets before they moved in.

The Challenge

Clare and Chris had just bought their first home. It was an older unit with plenty of potential.


They actually liked the kitchen layout and loved the existing Caesarstone benchtops, but the timber veneer cabinets had yellowed with age and dated the entire space.

 

They wanted to move into a home that felt clean and modern from day one. But after already spending their life savings on the purchase, a full kitchen renovation was out of the question.


The Solution

We recommended kitchen cabinet resurfacing: spraying the existing doors and panels in a crisp white for a fresh, modern finish.

 

To complete the update, Clare and Chris chose new, sleeker knobs that elevated the whole look without a big expense.

 

By keeping what worked (the quality benchtops and functional layout) and updating just the cabinetry, they got the facelift they wanted at around 70% less than a full replacement.
